- 1 onion
- 350 grams Ground meat
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp medium hot Mustard
- 1 Tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- peppers
- 4 Tbsps soybean oil
- 40 grams Bacon
- 8 mini hamburger buns
- 16 Gouda (approx 4 x 4 cm)
Preparation steps

Peel the onion and cut in half. Cut one-half into strips and set aside. Mince the other half finely. Process the ground beef with parsley, onions, egg, mustard, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Divide into 8 portions and form into a burger patty. Flatten and fry until golden brown for about 3 minutes on each side in hot oil.

Cut the bacon into strips and place in a pan. Add the onion strips and fry until soft.

Cut the rolls in half and fry briefly on the cut surfaces. Place a slice of cheese on the bottom of the bun. Place a burger on each bun and cover with another slice of cheese. Top with the bacon-onion mixture and cover with the other half of the bun.
