- 300 grams waxy potatoes
- salt
- 400 grams macaroni (such as macaroni or macaroni)
- 200 milliliters milk
- 100 milliliters Whipped cream
- 250 grams grated Cheese (such as Sbrinz or Alp)
- freshly ground peppers
- freshly grated Nutmeg
- 2 onions
- 2 Tbsps butter
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley

Preparation steps
1.
Peel, rinse and dice the potatoes. Precook in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes. Cook noodles in salted boiling water until al dente. Rinse both and drain well.

Preheat oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Heat milk with cream and stir in about 2/3 of the cheese. Season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Spread pasta with potatoes in a baking dish and pour cheese sauce over. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
4.
Bake in the oven until golden brown about 10-15 minutes. Peel the onions, halve and cut into rings. Slowly fry in hot butter until golden brown.
5.
Remove dish from the oven and serve sprinkled with onions and parsley.
