1 egg (separated)

freshly ground peppers
2 sheets Filo dough approximately 30x30 cm (12 x 12 inches)
40 grams melted butter
various Topping (to sprinkle,such as sesame seeds, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, paprika, herb leaves)

Preparation steps

Mix the goat cheese with the egg yolk and season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Lay out the phyllo dough and cut out circles or squares. Place goat cheese on half the shapes and on each place a wooden handle. Brush the edges with egg white and cover with a matching shape. Using light pressure, brush with a little melted butter. Some squares can also be folded into triangles. Decorate the canapes with different toppings, place them on a lined with baking paper baking sheet and bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
