Preparation steps

Beat the butter with ½ teaspoon salt and a pinch of nutmeg until fluffy. Add the egg and the semolina flour, mix, and let rest for at least 20 minutes.

Boil the beef broth in a pot and season with salt and pepper. Form dumplings from the semolina mixture using 2 wet teaspoons. Slide the dumplings into the simmering beef broth and leave until done over low heat for about 15-20 minutes. Serve hot.
