1 kilogram Broccoli
salt
8 Tomatoes
6 shallots
4 Tbsps olive oil
freshly ground peppers
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried rosemary
½ tsp dried oregano
150 grams Gouda (coarsely grated)
butter (for the baking dish)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse broccoli, peel the stems and cut in half lengthwise through the florets or cut into quarters. Blanch in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water.

Blanch tomatoes, peel, halve and remove seeds.

Peel shallots and cut into quarters lengthwise.

Season the vegetables lightly with salt, pepper and herbs, place in a greased baking dish, sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven 220°C (approximately 425°F) until the cheese is lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and serve with baguette slices, if desired.
