1 Whole-grain baguette

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 250°C (approximately 485°F).

Toast the walnuts in a hot pan, remove from the heat, cool, and coarsely chop. Peel, quarter, remove the seeds, and cut the pears into small cubes. Mix immediately with the lemon juice. Remove the rind from the brie, cut into small cubes, and mix with the pear and walnuts. Thinly slice the baguette, and top with the pear mixture. Bake in the oven until lightly browned. Remove, season with pepper, and garnish with the thyme.
