Blackberries are rich in antioxidants that protect the body's cells from free radicals. The proteins from the dairy products and nuts ensure long-lasting satiation.

The smoothie also tastes great with other berries: try raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, currants or another berry mix!

1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Vanilla
24 ounces cold nonfat milk
4 tablespoons Greek yogurt
3 scoops Vanilla ice cream
3 tablespoons Whipped cream

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and pick over blackberries, then pat dry with paper towels. Set aside a few berries for garnish, if desired.

Combine remaining blackberries with lemon juice, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla in a blender. Add milk, yogurt and ice cream. Blend until smooth.

3.

Whip cream and remaining vanilla until stiff. Transfer whipped cream to a squeeze bottle or pastry bag fitted with a star tip. Divide milkshake among glasses and top with whipped cream. Garnish with reserved blackberries.
