4 large, red onions
4 Beef fillet (ready to cook, about 3 cm thick)
1 Tbsp Coriander
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt
freshly ground peppers
fresh Basil

Preparation steps

1.

Peel onions and cut crosswise into 3 slices. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions on both sides. Crush coriander seeds in a mortar and sprinkle over onions. Season with salt and pepper, remove from pan and set aside.

2.

Rinse basil leaves and pat dry. Cook beef fillets in a little oil for 4 minutes on each side. Fillets should still be pink on the inside. Season with salt and pepper. Plate fillets and top with onion slices. Serve garnished with basil leaves.
