- 700 grams Beef fillet (center-cut)
- 4 thin slices Bacon
- 600 grams leftover Boiled potato
- olive oil
- freshly ground peppers
- salt
- 1 sheet Nori seaweed (cut into small rectangles)
- 2 Tbsps lingonberry (or cranberries)
- coarse Sea salt
Preparation steps
1.
Cut beef into 160 gram (approximately 6 ounces) portions. Wrap with bacon and tie with kitchen twine. Heat a heavy bottomed pan on high heat. Sear the steaks on both sides for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove steaks from the pan. Drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the steaks with lingonberries or fresh cranberries, sea salt and nori pieces.

Peel and cut potatoes into thin slices. Cook in 4 tablespoons hot oil until crispy. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with the steaks.
