- 500 milliliters pureed Tomatoes
- 250 milliliters Beef broth
- 2 garlic cloves (halved)
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- freshly ground peppers
- freshly grated Nutmeg
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- ½ tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- olive oil (cold pressed)
- 1 can Kidney beans
- 4 Sausage (cooked, sliced)

Preparation steps
1.
Heat 2-3 tablespoons oil in a pot and fry the onion until soft, then add the tomato puree, garlic and beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let the soup simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes.

Drain kidney beans, rinse under cold water, drain again and add to the soup. Simmer briefly, then season the soup with pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, chili powder and thyme and adjust seasonings with salt and sugar to taste.

Simmer another minute, then remove the pot from the heat and add the sliced sausages. Let stand for 5 minutes in the hot soup. If desired, add boiled noodles to the soup. Serve hot with fresh white bread, if desired.
