- 1 packet frozen Wonton wrapper (9 x 9 cm or approximately 3 1/2 inches)
- 2 tsps freshly grated ginger
- 3 tsps grated Lime zest
- 2 medium Banana
- 1 egg white
- 1 l vegetable oil (for frying)
- 150 milliliters Plum sauce (from a jar)

Preparation steps
1.
Thaw wonton dough sheets.

Peel banana, cut into pieces 1.5 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) wide and mix with ginger and lime zest.
3.
Place banana slices on wonton sheets. Brush the edge with slightly beaten egg whites and fold over the banana pieces, sealing around the outside.
4.
In a wok, heat the oil to 170°C (approximately 350°F) and fry in portions until golden brown. Freeze any leftover dough sheets and save for another use.
5.
Serve the banana wontons with plum sauce for dipping.
