Preparation
Kitchen utensils
1 Sieve, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Kitchen scale, 1 Teaspoon, 1 Mixing bowl, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Rolling pin, 1 Coarse grater, 1 Bowl, 1 Baking sheet, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Large knife, 1 Brush, 1 Wire rack, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Small bowl
Preparation steps
1.
Place the brioche slices in a large shallow dish. Whisk together the eggs, milk and nutmeg and pour over the brioche slices, making sure they are evenly covered, then set aside to soak for 15 minutes.
2.
Heat the butter in a wide frying pan and gently fry the brioche slices a few at a time for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Add a little more butter between batches if necessary.
3.
To serve, place two slices of french toast on each plate, drizzle over the maple syrup and scatter over the brown sugar, banana slices and chopped walnuts.
