- good-quality olive oil
- coarse salt (to taste)
- freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)

Preparation steps

Preheat oven to 400º F.

Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus. Place the asparagus in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and gently shake the pan back and forth to coat the asparagus. Season with salt and pepper.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Serve.
