1 packet frozen Filo dough (500 grams)
2 Tbsps chopped Peanuts
100 grams butter
300 grams Strawberries
200 grams Whipped cream
For garnish
mint
Orange peel (cut into thin strips)

Preparation steps

Thaw the dough sheets. Lay side by side and to cut out circles with about 12 cm (approximately 4 3/4 inch) diameter. Melt the butter and saute the peanuts in it briefly. Spoon the butter with peanuts on the dough circles and stack 8 on top of each other. Place on paprchment paper-lined baking sheets and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (approximately 375°F for about 15 minutes.

Remove and let cool.

Rinse the strawberries, trim, pick through and cut into slices.

Whip the cream to soft peaks.

Place half of the pastry stacks on 4 plates, top with the strawberries and half the cream and repeat layers once. Serve garnished with mint and thin strips of orange peel.
