Rinse the apples and pat dry. Cut a small lid and remove the core.
Finely chop the candied fruit and mix with the hazelnuts and cinnamon. Stir in the honey. Place the apples in a well greased pan.
Pour the filling into the apples and replace the lid. Place butter flakes on each apple. Bake for about 35 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F). Serve warm.
