2 Tbsps Rum
4 Tbsps raisins
50 grams ground Hazelnuts
4 Russet apples
3 Tbsps melted butter

Preparation steps

Soak the apricots in lukewarm water for about 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Rinse the orange in hot water and pat dry. Remove half of the shell and zest. Squeeze the orange. Drain the apricots and finely dice. Crush the marzipan and mix with the rum and orange juice until creamy. Mix in the diced apricot, raisins and nuts. Rinse the apples and cut off a lid. Remove the core, leaving the apple intact. Fill the apples with the mixture and replace the lid. Grease a baking dish with butter and place the filled apples in the pan. Sprinkle with butter and bake for 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with vanilla ice cream.
