800 grams smoked Bacon (thickly sliced)
4 Pear
4 small white onions

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse and peel green beans. Rinse pears. Peel onions and cut into quarters. Bring stock to a boil and add in onions, pears and green beans. Reduce heat, cover and let cook over low heat for about 15–20 minutes until beans and pears are soft.

After about 10 minutes of cooking time, add bacon. Season carefully with salt and pepper to taste. Add rinsed herbs sprigs and leaves. Quarter or halve pears and serve warm with bacon and green beans.
