Preparation steps

1.

Peel the pears and apples into quarters, core and quarter. Rinse the plums, halve, pit and cut into thin wedges. Rinse grapes, halve and mix with the remaining fruit in a bowl.

Boil the port wine and honey with spices and orange juice, then pour over the fruit and leave to cool for about 20 minutes. Before serving, pick out the spices and mix in walnuts. Serve the fruit salad on plates dusted with powdered sugar.
