- 200 grams white Asparagus
- 200 grams green Asparagus
- 3 Tbsps olive oil
- ½ organic lemon
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 pinch sugar
- 400 grams Strawberries
- 3 Tbsps balsamic vinegar
- Thai basil (for garnish)
Preparation steps

Preheat the grill. Peel the whole white asparagus. Peel the bottom third of the green asparagus. Remove the hard woody ends of the asparagus, and thinly slice on a bias. Mix the asparagus with the olive oil in a bowl. Thinly slice the lemon and add to the bowl. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and sugar. Remove from the marinade and wrap the asparagus in aluminum foil. Cook on the hot grill for 15-20 minutes.

Rinse, trim, and slice the strawberries.

Remove the aluminum foil packet from the grill, open, and let cool slightly. Stack the asparagus and the strawberries to form a small tower. Drizzle with the balsamic vinegar, garnish with the basil, and serve.
