- 1 kilogram clam (or cockles)
- 1 kilogram mussels
- 2 red Pepperoncini
- 2 carrots
- 250 grams Green beans
- 1 handful cilantro
- 3 Tbsps sesame oil
- 2 Tbsps red Curry paste
- 2 cans Coconut milk (about 400 ml)

Preparation steps
1.
Rinse and scrub clams and mussels. Discard any with shells that do not close when lightly pinched together.
2.
Rinse and halve peppers, remove seeds and ribs, and cut into thin strips. Rinse, trim and cut beans lengthwise into thin strips. Peel carrots, halve lengthwise and cut crosswise into slices. Rinse cilantro and strip leaves from stems.
3.
In a large saucepan, sauté peppers, carrots and beans in sesame oil. Stir in curry paste and coconut milk. Cook 2-3 minutes, then add clams and mussels. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes. Stir in cilantro and divide chowder among soup bowls. Serve immediately.
