Preparation steps

1.

For the dough: Place the flour in a bowl, make a well in the center, add the crumbled yeast to the well and mix with a little lukewarm water until smooth. Sprinkle with some flour from the edges, cover and let rise for 15 minutes in a warm place. Add the remaining water, oil and a pinch of salt and knead until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

2.

For the sauce: Blanch the tomatoes, shock in ice water, peel and cut into small cubes. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pot and sauté the tomatoes slightly. Add the thyme and season with salt and pepper.

3.

Lightly grease a pizza pan. Knead the dough again, roll out on a lightly floured work surface and then use to fill the prepared pan. Preheat the oven to 250°C (approximately 475°F).

4.

Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza base. Slice the mushrooms and sprinkle over 1/4 of the pizza. Arrange the thinly sliced ham, artichokes and peppers on separate quarters. Cut mozzarella into cubes and sprinkle over the entire pizza. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 15 minutes.
