750 grams Apricot
½ lemon
150 grams Quark
50 grams Sour cream
100 grams almonds

Preparation steps

1.

Cut apricots crosswise, blanch in hot water and rinse in cold water, peel, halve and pit.

2.

Rinse half of a lemon in hot water, grate zest and squeeze juice.

3.

Combine lemon juice with 500 ml (approximatley 2 cups) of water and bring to a boil. Add apricots, bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes. 

4.

Place fruit into 6 bowls, cool cooking syrup. Pour over apricots.

5.

Combine quark with sour cream and lemon zest, top apricots with the mixture. 

6.

Chop almonds coarsely and sprinkle dessert with them. Serve.
