Organic orange (about 200 grams)

dried Apricots
2 ounces
1 ½ tablespoons
Honey (about 25 grams)
thin slices Whole-wheat bread (each about 30 grams)
seasonal Fruit (for garnish)
Preparation

1 Cutting board, 1 Fine grater, 1 Small knife, 1 Citrus juicer, 1 Bowl, 1 Plastic wrap, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Mini food processor, 1 canning jar (350 ml), 1 Melon baller (optional)

Preparation steps

Rinse orange with hot water and wipe dry. Finely grate zest to equal 1 teaspoon.

Juice orange and combine in a bowl with the zest.

Chop apricots and add to orange juice mixture. Cover and let stand for 8-10 hours (or preferably overnight).

In a mini chopper, combine almonds, honey and apricots with soaking liquid; puree until smooth. Transfer to a clean jar (350 ml) (approximately 12 ounces).

Spread each bread slice with 2 tablespoons apricot spread (refrigerate the rest in a covered jar). Garnish with apple slices or little apple balls (use a melon baller to form) and serve.
