225 grams Puff pastry dough (1/2 package)
3 Russet apples
3 Tbsps lemon juice
2 Tbsps sugar
4 Tbsps Apricot jam

Preparation steps

1.

Thaw the puff pastry. Unroll lay and shape into the desired shape. Grease the baking pan or bakind dish and line with the pastry dough forming an edge.

Peel the apples, quarter and core. Cut into thin wedges. Immediately sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar.

3.

Arrange the apple slices on the dough in a circle with the pieces overlapping eachother. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 25 minutes.

4.

Meanwhile, warm the apricot jam in a small saucepan and strain through a sieve. Take out the finished cake and while it is still warm, spread the jam on top. Serve and enjoy.
