200 grams Baby spinach
4 Kohlrabi (or chard leaves)
250 grams Apple juice
½ lemon (juiced)

Preparation steps

Rinse the apples, remove the cores, roughly chop, setting a few pieces aside for garnish, and place in a blender. Peel and slice the banana and add to the blender. Rinse the spinach and kohlrabi leaves and spin dry. Set a few spinach leaves aside for garnish and add the rest of the greens to the blender. Pour in the apple and lemon juice and begin to blend. Slowly add about 500 ml (approximately 2 cups) of cold water while blending. Blend until smooth and creamy. (You may need to add a bit more water to reach desired consistency.)  Pour into chilled glasses. Slide the reserved apple and spinach onto skewers and place on top of the smoothies.
