Bell pepper (1 red and yellow)
½ Iceberg lettuce
1 onion
1 garlic clove
1 small red chili pepper
300 grams turkey breasts
2 Tbsps sunflower oil
salt
freshly ground peppers
ground paprika (sweet)
4 Whole-wheat tortillas (store bought; refrigerated)
80 grams Gouda (grated)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse bell peppers, cut in half, remove seeds and cut into strips. Rinse lettuce, trim, spin dry and cut into strips. Peel onion and garlic and chop. Rinse chile pepper, remove seeds and cut into thin rings.

Cut turkey into cubes. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook turkey cubes.

Add bell peppers, onion, garlic and chile pepper and saute for about 8 minutes. Season well with salt, pepper and paprika.

Heat wheat tortillas on both sides briefly in a large, nonstick pan. Distribute turkey and vegetable mixture and lettuce on the prepared tortilla. Sprinkle cheese on top. To serve, roll tortillas up and cut in the middle. If desired, these wraps can be served with spicy tomato salsa and Mexican beer.
