500 grams dried Peas
2 red paprika
1 yellow paprika
2 onions
300 grams button Mushroom
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 Tbsp Mustard seed
1 Tbsp chopped Pine nuts
1 tsp ground paprika
1 tsp grated ginger
4 Tbsps rough curry spice mix
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
200 milliliters Vegetable broth

Preparation steps

Thaw peas. Rinse peppers, cut in half, remove seeds and ribs and cut into strips. Rinse the mushrooms and rub with a paper towel. Peel and finely chop onions.

Heat oil in a pan and saute the onions, add spices and briefly cook. Add the remaining vegetables and pine nuts, cook for 1-2 minutes. Add broth and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes. Season with ginger root, curry mix, mustard seed, paprika and fennel. Serve in bowls over either rice or potatoes.
