- 4 Peaches (halved and stones removed)
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 Tbsps light brown sugar
- 4 Tbsps Golden syrup
- 1 lemon (juice only)
- 1 Vanilla bean
- 2 Tbsps Sesame seeds

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oven to 200C,400F, gas 6. Butter a baking dish.
2.
Put the peaches cut side up in the baking dish. Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
3.
Mix together the syrup and lemon juice. Split the vanilla bean and scrape the seeds into the mixture. Mix well.
4.
Pour the syrup mixture over the peaches. Add the vanilla bean to the dish and bake for about 30 minutes until the peaches are tender, basting from time to time.
5.
Put the peaches on a serving plate and spoon over the sauce. Scatter with sesame seeds.
