- 600 grams Tuna
- 1 shallot (finely chopped)
- 1 garlic clove (finely chopped)
- ½ bunch cilantro (coarsely chopped)
- 1 lemon (zested)
- 1 pinch Turmeric
- 1 pinch allspice (ground)
- 1 egg
- breadcrumbs (as needed)
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- vegetable oil (to saute)

Preparation steps

Rinse the fish, pat dry and finely chop. Transfer to a bowl with the shallot, garlic, cilantro, lemon zest, turmeric and allspice and knead until well combined. If the mixture is too soft add some breadcrumbs.

Season with salt and pepper and form into 6 cm (approximately 2 1/2-inch) long sausages. Heat the oil in a skillet and saute the croquettes until golden brown all over, about 5 minutes. If you like, serve with tomato and cucumber salad.
