Preparation steps

Rinse and trim the zucchini. Using the kitchen knife, cut the zucchini into 4-5 cm (approximately 1 1/2-2 inch) long pieces. Cut the pieces lengthwise into quarters. Use the tournier knife to slice the exterior of the zucchini from thumb to forefinger. On one side, slice a rounded edge. Turn the zucchini and do the same with the other side so it looks like an oval. Slice the zucchini flesh from top to bottom. Continue slicing until the zucchini piece is a smooth oval, about 5-6 slices.

Do the same with the other zucchini pieces.
