200 grams Tortellini (such as with spinach and ricotta filling, refrigerated)
½ bunch scallions
2 garlic cloves
2 Tbsps olive oil
600 grams crushed tomatoes (canned)
salt
freshly ground peppers
40 grams Parmesan (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Rinse scallions, trim and cut into thin rings. Peel garlic and chop. Heat olive oil in a pan, saute garlic and scallions until soft, add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes. Meanwhile cook tortellini in a pot of boiling salted water according to package information.

To serve, arrange tortellini and tomato sauce on plates and garnish with freshly grated Parmesan and basil.
