Preparation steps
1.
Put both kinds of rice in a bowl and wash with cold water. Drain the rice in a colander and set aside for 30 minutes.
2.
Place the rice in a pan and add the water. Soak for 30 minutes. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender. When the rice is cooked, let it steam for 15 minutes.
3.
Mash the rice until sticky. With wet hands, shape the rice into triangles.
4.
Mix the pine nuts and sugar and coat the triangles in the pine nuts and sugar on both sides.
5.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the rice triangles until golden on both sides.
