100 grams butter
100 grams powdered sugar
½ lemon (juice and zest)
1 egg
200 grams Pastry flour
100 grams cornstarch
4 Tbsps Strawberry Jam
colorful Decorative sugar crystal (finished product)

Preparation steps

1.

Beat the butter, powdered sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest and egg until fluffy. Add the flour and cornstarch. Knead into a smooth dough. Cover and chill for about 1 hour.

Heat the strawberry jam and pour through a sieve.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface until about 1/2 cm thick. Use a cookie cutter to cut out small strawberries. Press a small indent into each cookie. Place the cookies on a lined baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C (approximately 350°F). Remove from the oven and let cool. Spread the strawberry jam in the indentations. Let dry. Decorate with decorative sugar and serve.
