Healthy, because

Even smarter

This dessert is a little higher in sugar, but it is a great treat, and the nectarines are a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium. These nutrients can help improve metabolism, digestion, and heart health.

Instead of flour, you could use oats to make the crumble, which will provide you with more long lasting energy and fiber.

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2.
Mix together the flour, coconut flakes and sugar. Then rub in the butter to produce a crumbly mixture. Put the crumble into a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
3.
Meanwhile wash, halve and stone the nectarines and plums and cut into small pieces. Wash and deseed the chili and cut into thin rings. Put the fruit into a pan with the brown sugar, wine and chili rings and cook over a medium heat for 10 minutes. Serve the stewed fruit with the crumble.
