- 300 grams Chestnut mushroom
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 can chickpeas (280 grams, drained)
- 125 milliliters Vegetable broth
- 1 chili pepper
- parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- mint (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- salt
- peppers (freshly ground)
- Cumin (1/4 tsp, crushed)
- cloves (1/4 tsp, crushed)
- 200 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat)
- mint (for garnish)

Preparation steps

Wipe chestnut mushrooms clean and cut into smaller pieces. Rinse, trim and cut chile crosswise into rings. Drain chickpeas. Peel and finely chop onions and garlic, then fry in hot oil. Add mushrooms and stir-fry over medium heat, about 2 minutes.

Add chickpeas, broth, chile and herbs to mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper, cumin and cloves. Simmer 4 minutes more. Finally, stir in yogurt and heat briefly. Serve garnished with mint leaves. Serve with couscous, if desired.
