Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the grill to hot. Smash together the avocado and garlic with a tablespoon of lemon juice and some seasoning.
2.
Toss the remaining lemon juice with the cherry tomatoes and seasoning in a small bowl. Set to one side.
3.
Toast the baguette slices under the grill until golden on both sides.
4.
Spread the smashed avocado on top and top with the cherry tomatoes before serving.
