- 1 cup Long grain rice
- 9 ozs Snap pea
- 2 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 21 ozs Beef (from the rump or sirloin, cut into thin strips)
- 7 ozs button Mushrooms (halved)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 2 onions (sliced)
- Fish sauce
- soy sauce
- ⅜ cup Beef stock
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ bunch Thai basil
- 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds

1 Bowl, 1 Fine-mesh sieve, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Baking sheet, 1 Parchment paper, 1 Rolling pin, 1 Large knife, 1 kleines Sieve oder Teesieb
Preparation steps
1.
Cook the rice according to the pack instructions.
2.
Blanch the mangetout in salted boiling water for 1 minute. Rinse in cold water and drain.
3.
Heat the oil and quickly brown the meat. Add the mushrooms and fry briefly, then stir in the garlic and onions. Stir-fry all together for 1-2 minutes.
4.
Add a little fish sauce, soy sauce and the stock. Add the mangetout and cook for 1-2 minutes. Season to taste with fish sauce, soy sauce and sesame oil.
5.
Add the Thai basil leaves and sesame seeds.
6.
Drain the rice and spoon onto serving plates and put the beef mixture on top.
