Savoy Cabbage and Ground Meat Casserole
Want some resistance? Savoy cabbage is a good source of vitamin C. With about 50 milligrams per 100 grams, it is one of the stars among the suppliers of vitamin C. And incidentally, the curly cabbage also strengthens the nervous system with its vitamin B6 content.
The savoy cabbage mince casserole is perfect for low-carb diets. If you want to fill up on carbohydrates, you can enjoy the casserole with a slice of bread. In this case, however, it is best to use wholemeal bread!
Peel and chop onion. Rinse tomatoes and cut into cubes. Heat oil in a pan and saute onion for a few minutes, add ground meat and saute until crumbly. Add tomato paste and tomato cubes and saute briefly. Cut savoy cabbage into strips and blanch in boiling salted water for a few minutes.
Whisk cream with eggs and season well with salt and pepper. Spread meat mixture, cabbage and cream mixture in a greased casserole dish and mix well. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
