- 12 small Veal sausage (Or other sausages)
- 2 Tbsps clarified butter
- 2 Apple (such as Golden Delicious)
- 2 onions
- 3 Tbsps butter
- 1 kilogram potatoes
- ¼ l milk
- 25 grams butter
- salt
- peppers
- ½ bunch marjoram

Preparation steps

Peel the potatoes, rinse, chop and cook for about 25 minutes in boiling salted water. Peel the apples, quarter, core and dice. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Heat the butter in a skillet and saute the onions and diced apple over low heat until the apples are soft. Drain the potatoes and while still hot press through a ricer. Heat the milk and whisk the warm milk into the potatoes, add the butter and season with salt and pepper.

Heat clarified butter in a skillet and saute the sausages until browned on all sides. Transfer the mashed potatoes to serving plates, place the sausages alongside and top with the apple-onion mixture. Garnish with marjoram leaves and serve.
