- 2 onions
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil
- 100 milliliters dry white wine
- 200 milliliters Beef broth
- 1 kilogram Sauerkraut
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 Apple
- 2 Blood sausages (or more to taste)
- 2 Sausage (or more to taste)
- 100 grams Bacon
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- salt
- freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps
1.
Peel the onions and slice into rings. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet. Add the onions and cook until golden brown. Stir in the wine, broth, garlic, and the bay leaf. Cover and simmer, over low heat for 1 hour. Add more broth if necessary.

Rinse, quarter and core the apples. Cut into small cubes. Stir into the sauerkraut mixture during the final 15 minutes of the cooking time. Slice the sausages and chop the bacon. Heat the remaining oil in a skillet. Add the sausages and bacon, and cook until golden brown.

Stir in the marjoram and season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the bay leaf and garlic if desired, and serve.
