Preparation steps

Thaw puff pastry. Cut each dough sheet in half and roll out on floured surface, cut out little stars (5 cm in diameter) (approximately 2 inch) with a cookie cutter. Brush star centers with beaten egg yolk. Arrange them on buttered and floured baking sheet and bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) on the middle rack for about 12 minutes or until golden. Remove and let cool. Rinse and dry radishes, cut into thin slices. Cut smoked salmon into thin strips. Cut cress with kitchen scissors. Combine radishes with salmon and watercress.

Spread puff pastry stars with a thin layer of horseradish cream and top with salmon mixture. Serve.
