For the pasta
400 grams Spaghetti
1 sm package Saffron
salt
For the sauce
1 Zucchini
100 grams Bacon
4 Tomatoes
100 grams sun-dried Tomatoes (in oil)
1 garlic clove
2 Tbsps butter
2 Tbsps olive oil
Fresh herbs (for garnish)
salt
peppers (colorful)

Preparation steps

For the pasta, cook spaghetti with saffron in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. For the sauce, rinse and trim zucchini and cut into cubes. Blanch and peel tomatoes, remove sees and dice. Drain sun-dried tomatoes and cut into small cubes. Peel garlic and squeeze through a garlic press.

Cut bacon into strips and fry in a dry frying pan unitl crispy. Remove bacon from pan, stir butter and oil into drippings and sauté zucchini, tomatoes, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic for 2-3 minutes.

Add a little pasta water to sauce and simmer for about 2 minutes. Drain pasta, stir into sauce with bacon and season with salt and pepper. Distribute pasta and sauce on plates and garnish with fresh herbs to serve.
