- 1 ⅕ kilograms Roasted pork (such as shoulder or neck)
- 1 garlic clove
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- 2 Tbsps clarified butter
- 2 parsley
- 2 thyme
- 3 marjoram
- 2 fresh bay leaves
- 200 milliliters beer (or non-alcoholic)

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F).

Rinse roast and pat dry. Peel garlic and mix with salt. Rub roast with garlic, salt, pepper and marjoram. Place pork in a roasting pan and fry hot butter on all sides.
3.
Add 200 ml (approximately 7 ounces) water and beer to the roasting pan. Cook covered in preheated oven for 1.5-2 hours. Rinse herbs, shake dry, tie a bouquet and add to roasting pan.
4.
Repeatedly sprinkle roast with cooking liquid and uncover after an hour.
5.
Remove roast pork from oven, let it rest briefly and cut crosswise with the grain into slices.
