This delicious summertime treat contains secondary plant substances from the currants, which protects the body's cells from free radicals, and satiating protein from the yogurt, which keeps the body's bones healthy and strong!

Instead of strawberries, you can use blackberries, raspberries, or even chopped tropical fruits such as mangos or pineapples.

3 ½ ounces Strawberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
10 ½ ounces Greek Yogurt (0.1% fat)
2 ounces powdered sugar
3 ounces Whipped cream

Preparation steps

Rinse berries, trim and sort. Puree berries in a blender with lemon juice and strain through a sieve. Mix yogurt in a bowl with powdered sugar. Whip cream in a bowl until stiff. Mix puree with yogurt mixture and then fold in whipped cream. Pour mixture into small individual ramekins or popsicle molds. After about one hour add popsicle sticks, if desired. Leave in the freezer for about 2 hours total.

Take out of the freezer about 5 minutes before serving and remove from the ramekins or molds.
