2 sheets all-butter Puff pastry
1 tablespoon English mustard
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups red Leicester cheese (grated)

1 Pot, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Cutting board, 1 Large knife, 1 Small knife, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon

Preparation steps

Heat the oven to 200ºC / 400ºF.

Lay one sheet of pastry on a floured board and spread with the mustard. Sprinkle over the cayenne pepper and the cheese as evenly as possible then lay the other pastry sheet on top.

Gently press down the pastry sandwich then cut into 1cm/  1/4 inch strips. Twist each strip, squeezing the ends together, and place on a greased baking sheet.

Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until the straws are golden brown.
