Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the chard, remove the stems and blanch the leaves in boiling salt water for 2-3 minutes. Drain well. Halve the tender part of the stems and blanch in boiling salt water for 5-6 minutes. Drain well.

2.

Rinse the scallions and cut into small pieces. Rinse and halve the tomatoes. Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices.

3.

Crumble the bread. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Rinse and finely chop the capers. Mix the breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley and capers. Season well, using salt sparingly. Mix with 4 tablespoons of olive oil.

Grease a baking dish with oil. Spread the chard (leaves and stems) in the baking dish. Rub the parmesan over the chard. Add tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and oregano. Add the potatoes slices and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the scallions, rub the parmesan and top with the breadcrumbs. Bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C (approximately 400°F).
