1 kilogram Pork ribs
700 grams potatoes
500 grams Sauerkraut
4 Tbsps butter
2 onions
salt
peppers
4 garlic cloves

Preparation steps

In a pot, bring ribs to a boil with 1 liter (approximately 4 1/4 cups) salted water. Simmer over low heat, about 45 minutes. Remove ribs. Peel and finely chop onions. Peel and dice potatoes. Coarsely chop sauerkraut. In a saucepan, sauté onions, potatoes and sauerkraut in 2 tablespoons melted butter.

Add broth and simmer about 25 minutes over low heat. Season with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop garlic and add to the soup. Meanwhile, fry ribs in the remaining butter until crispy and browned on both sides. Slice ribs between the bones and serve with the sauerkraut soup.
