- 1 Tbsp Aleppo pepper
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 8 slices Bread (crusts cut off)
- 2 handfuls baby Spinach
- 6 slices wafer-thin ham
- 4 spears white Asparagus (peeled)
- 1 ⅛ cups cream cheese
- ¼ cup cream
- 1 cup Chives (chopped)
Preparation steps
1.
Cook the asparagus in boiling salt water for around 15 minutes. Drain and leave to cool.

Mix together the paprika flakes and the oil.
3.
Place the bread on a large piece of cling film in a rectangle 2 slices high and 4 slices wide. Brush with the paprika oil and leave to steep for around 10 minutes. Top with the spinach and the ham.
4.
Place the asparagus along the wide edge and roll up tightly in the cling film. Chill for around 2 hours.
5.
Mix together the cream cheese and the cream and season with salt and ground black pepper.
6.
Carefully remove the roll from the cling film and spread with the cream cheese. Roll in the chives and cut carefully into slices.
