1 Tbsp Oil
16 ozs Sausage
6 eggs
2 cups milk
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp freshly ground Black pepper
1 tsp whole-grain Mustard
6 slices Bread (cut into 2.5cm|1" cubes)
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese (optional)

Preparation steps

1.
Grease a deep baking dish.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and quickly brown the sausages on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3.
Beat together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard. Stir in the bread cubes. Pour into the baking dish.
4.
Slice the sausages and place on top of the mixture. Sprinkle over the cheese, if using. Cover and chill overnight.
5.
Heat the oven to 180°C (160° fan) 350°F gas 4.
6.
Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes until golden and cooked through. Stand for 10 minutes before serving.
