300 grams Pastry flour
1 Tbsp sugar
1 pinch salt
200 grams butter
1 egg
1 Red Plum
2 Tbsps powdered sugar

Preparation steps

Knead flour, sugar, salt, butter and egg into a smooth dough. Chill for 30 minutes. Then roll out thinly between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and press into a greased tart with with a 26 cm (approximately 10 inch) diameter, letting excess fall over edges. Preheat oven to 250°C (approximately 475°F).

Rinse plums, cut in half, remove pits and mix with powdered sugar. Distribute plums over dough and then fold excess dough to cover plums. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm with cappuccino if desired.
