Preparation steps

1.

For the dough: Mix the yeast with 300 ml (approximately 1 1/4 cups) of lukewarm water. Mix the flour with the salt in a bowl, make a well in the center and add the yeast water and the oil. With your hands, process into a smooth dough and knead vigorously about 10 minutes on a floured surface. If the dough is too moist or dry, add some flour or lukewarm water. Place the dough back into the bowl and leave covered in a warm place about 1 hour.

2.

For the toppings: Peel the pineapple, quarter lengthwise and cut into pieces. Rinse the pepper. remove the seeds and ribs and cut into strips. Mix the crushed tomatoes with the tomato paste. Peel the garlic, chop finely and mix with salt, pepper and herbs. Season the sauce to taste. Cut the ham into pieces and drain the corn well.

3.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Knead the dough on a floured surface again and divide into 4 equal portions. Roll out pizza (about 26 cm diameter) (approximately 10 inches) and form a slightly thicker edge. Arrange the pizza bases on parchment paper. Brush the dough with tomato sauce and sprinkle with 2/3 of the cheese. Distribute the ham, pineapple, peppers and corn, and sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake the pizzas in the oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Remove and serve immediately.
